Are you looking for an exciting and interesting way to explore the local area during your stay? Look no further than a neighborhood walk right here in our neighborhood, the Heritage Hill Historic District.

One of the highlights is the Meyer May house just a block away, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and restored by Steelcase, Inc. This home offers free inside tours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and is a must-see for anyone interested in architecture and design. But the Meyer May house is just the beginning of what our Heritage Hill neighborhood has to offer. The Heritage Hill Association has put together a self-guided walking tour that features 37 homes of significant architectural style and historical significance. And we are on the list (I know, shameless self-promotion). The Leonard at Logan House is number 30 on that walking tour!

Another great way to experience your Heritage Hill walk is to down the GR Walks app and choose the Heritage Hill tours. This app ties in with GPS and gives you a guided narrated tour. Cool, huh.
As you explore the neighborhood, you'll see house after amazing house, each with its own unique character and history. And don't forget to take in the many eateries and shops on Wealthy Street during your walk as well. Many guests have even walked downtown for concerts, shopping, and dining.

A neighborhood walk is a great way to get some exercise and fresh air while also learning about the local area. And in the Heritage Hill neighborhood, you'll find plenty to see and do. So lace up your walking shoes and get ready for a memorable stroll through some of the most beautiful and historic homes in West Michigan.
